| The 41204 are non-isolated, 12V to 24V step-up battery equalizers. Originally designed for harsh environments such as car carrier trailers, they have been used effectively to power communications radios and other accessories which operate from 24V systems.
41204 equalizers provide an output voltage equal to two (2) times the input voltage at an output current of up to 40A continuous. “On/Off” operation is controlled by an “Ignition” input.
41204 are protected against reverse polarity and output short-to-ground conditions by fuse links in the supply and output circuits. Electrical protection is provided for over voltage, under voltage, loss of ground and over-current conditions. Encasing the circuitry in epoxy provides sealing and protection against chemicals and corrosive materials, such as fuels and cleaners. This also protects against shock and vibration. 41204E version meets or exceeds MIL STD 461D from 30 MHz to 1000 MHz and complies with CE102 and CS114.
