New “Plug N Play” Technology Pertronix new billet distributors for small block Chevrolet, big block Chevrolet, Chrysler and Ford engines for automotive and marine use provides maximum ignition performance with ease of installation, all at a price you can afford. Now you can upgrade your outdated points, stock electronic or aftermarket distributor with a performance proven distributor that features the patented ignitor II electronic ignition module. Housings are CNC machined from 6061 T-6 aluminum and polished to a show quality finish. The internal Ignitor II electronic module uses a Hall Effect integrated circuit triggered by a special magnetic sleeve fitted to the distributor shaft resulting in stable timing and precise spark distribution. A powerful micro controller with adaptive dwell angle to maintain peak energy throughout the entire RPM range, increasing both high and low RPM performance. The Ignitor II module also compensates for inherent electronic delay by adjusting the spark timing over the entire RPM range. Ignition energy is sustained with less heat build-up in the coil and module because peak current level is reached just prior to spark. Compatible with most coils. For maximum high RPM performance use our low resistant (0.6-ohm) Flame-Thrower II coil. We stock service parts for these distributors
